Psychologist - Conservation Behavioural Science

Position Summary:
The person should enjoy both desk-based work as well as on-ground research with communities across project sites such as the North East, Lakshadweep islands, the west coast and any other site assigned across India. S/he will be required to assist and work through the scientific research process. S/he must have a deep interest in social science research, and should be adaptable to working in a dynamic environment. S/he must be keen to learn, grasp, and apply learnt skills in psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
- •On-field qualitative psychological data collection.
- •Over-seeing qualitative and quantitative on-field data collection and management of field teams.
- •Assisting with qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
- •Designing and executing on-ground interventions.
- •Report writing for the project work done.
- •Any other tasks as assigned by the CBS lead from time-to-time.
Required qualifications & skills:
- •A Masters Degree in Psychology from a recognised university (in any sub-discipline).
- •An experience of 1-2 years in psychology. Those with relevant research experience will be preferred.
- •Comfort with working with qualitative and quantitative data.
- •Willingness to travel and stay on field sites and carry our field-work as required for projects.
