Associate Manager - Operations

Position Summary:

    The Associate Manager – Operations plays a key role in supporting the efficient and seamless execution of THT’s programmes. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating with programme leads, streamlining operations, and supporting process implementation and monitoring. The role demands strong execution skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a keen eye for operational detail. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to grow into a leadership role in conservation-focused operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the implementation of operational strategies in line with THT’s goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with programme teams across THT’s programmes (Terrestrial, Marine, Grants, Technology4Conservation, Eco-restoration, CBS, Education, Communications) to ensure timely and efficient programme delivery.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various programmes to improve workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Assist in statutory and internal reporting, including generation of reports and documentation.
  • Support coordination and logistics for key meetings, reviews, and events.
  • Maintain close working relationships with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Internal Audit, etc.) to ensure cohesive operations.
  • Contribute to risk identification and contingency planning.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of Operations.

Must Haves:

  • 7–8 years of experience in operations, preferably in the development or conservation sector.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of operations, project management tools, and process documentation.
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software/tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (environmental studies, management, development, or conservation-related discipline).
